REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) – Portneuf Valley Wildfire Risk Reduction and Education Program Hazardous Fuel Treatments

The City of Pocatello was awarded a USDA Forest Service Community Wildfire Defense Grant (CWDG) to reduce wildfire risk through hazardous fuel removal in Bannock County, Pocatello, ID. The City is conducting this request for proposals to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement for Hazardous Fuel Treatment work in the project area. The City is seeking qualified contractors for this work. Qualified contractors will then be eligible to submit project specific quotes for Hazardous Fuel Treatment Work identified throughout the duration of the CWDG program.

The City, a municipal corporation located in Southeast, Idaho, is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) and anticipates selecting contractors that have experience working in a local government setting and have familiarity with Federal regulations. Only the firms responding to the RFP will be considered. The City will evaluate responses to select qualified firms and enter into contract for a three-year period with options of two (2) one-year extensions through mutual consent between the City and selected contractors. In order to be considered responsive, Contractors will need to submit a technical proposal AND pricing proposal. Please submit the technical proposal and price proposal as separate documents.
