The Government requires one long-wave hyperspectral imagers (7.7-11.8mm range, 320 × 256-pixel array, and spectral resolution from 0.25 to 16 cm-1) with one far-field (3x or 3.5x) telescopes and one near-field (0.5x) telescopes, ruggedized control computer, software for command and control of the HSI, tripod, and analytical software for post-processing. The HSI and computer must be operable in field conditions without the need for liquid nitrogen, external cooling devices, and fully operational outdoor environmental conditions from 20F to 110F.
