Request for Qualifications - ATP-6 SRTS Sidewalk Gap & Crosswalk Improvement Project ATPL-5227(075)

The City of Delano is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified engineering firms (consultants) that have experience and support capabilities to provide civil engineering design services for the construction of improvements at various streets intersection in Delano by providing improvements to pedestrian crossings and handicap ramps. The project consists of improvements at various street intersections surrounding 8 local public schools including construction of 18 ADA compliant curb ramps, installation of 17 ladder-back crosswalks, installation of pedestrian crossing signs and advanced pedestrian crossing/yield signs in accordance with the latest edition of the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Project also includes filling 4,250 feet of sidewalk gaps with 4-1/2 feet wide sidewalk.
