Synopsis:
|
|
The RM of Antelope Park No. 292 is seeking one individual or company with the skills, experience, and passion for regional emergency management for the Prairie Winds Emergency Measures Organization. The position will be part time serving the following six partnering municipalities both rural and urban: RM No. 260, RM No. 261, RM No. 292, RM No. 322, Town of Eatonia, and Village of Marengo.
The Regional Emergency Measures Coordinator is responsible for local, regional, or intermunicipal emergencies/incidents requiring use of the Regional Emergency Management Plan.
Duties Include:
Coordinating training;
Updating the plan and preparing supporting documentation;
Chairing the Regional Emergency Planning Committee meetings; and
Assuming the “Incident Commander” role during significant planned or unplanned events in the region or another role as required.
*Continuing education will be expected and supported.
