Negotiated Request for Proposal
The Urban Schools Insurance Consortium, by undertaking a competitive process, intends to improve our insurance claims adjusting process, while reducing cost by ascertaining the best combination of claims management, administration and services to participating members.
USIC seeks to shortlist a minimum of two (2) interested firms, who will be invited to interview and presentations during the evaluation stage. The selection of the shortlisted qualified proponents will be based on the criteria set out in Appendix B. The list of qualified firms may include all submitting an RFP response or a subset of those firms, depending upon the outcome of the evaluation process. USIC will consider all of the criteria listed below and shall have the sole and unfettered discretion to award up to the maximum number of points for each of the criteria listed.
USIC’s intention is to contract with one supplier.
