Description: Hudson Valley Community College is seeking bids for the temporary employment of security guards for the period of August 29 through September 16, 2025 and on a per diem basis as needed throughout the year. Labor Day and weekends are excluded. All guards must meet the requirements of the New York State Security Guard Act and be New York State Department of State registered security guards. The security guards will be primarily used for traffic control on campus during the opening weeks of the college’s Fall 2025 semester. Vendor should provide an hourly charge per security guard. There should be a minimum of 5 guards with an option to add more as needed. The successful vendor must have at least one office within a 50 mile radius of the college.
