Clean Energy Communities Roof Mounted Solar Array Project

The Town of Germantown (“Town”) is requesting bids for the installation roof mounted solar array with a minimum size of 20.25 kW on the Town’s salt shed building located at 65 Palatine Park Road, Germantown, New York 12526 according to the specifications contained herein.

The bidder must be capable of obtaining a performance bond in the amount sufficient to cover the cost of the entire project.

Each bidder must comply with the New York State Labor Law, including the payment of prevailing wages.

No subcontractors for any portion of the work is permitted except as otherwise provided herein.

All bidders that submit a proposal shall be required to meet the following minimum qualifications:

1. The bidder must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a solar energy system installer; and
2. The bidder shall provide references for three similar assignments within the past five (5) years and any certifications they possess.
