Summary:The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking expressions of interest from engineering consulting firms who wish to be considered to provide project-specific services related to Route 58 Vesta widening project. work will consist of widening existing Route 58 from a two lane non-divided roadway to a four-lane divided roadway; a portion of the four-lane roadway will have a new alignment. The scope of work will also include replacing one bridge structure with two new bridge structures, providing wider shoulders, which will improve sight distance, as well as upgrading signs, guardrail, and other necessities as agreed upon.
The project-specific contract will have a maximum value of $5,500,000.
