TheTexas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the TexasHealth and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and ContractingServices (PCS) division of HHSC administers solicitations for HHS.

PCS,on behalf of the Maintenance and Construction Department of the Health andSpecialty Care System (HSCS) division, issues this Request for Qualifications(RFQ) to solicit qualifications from architectural and/or engineering designprofessionals interested in providing programming, design, and associatedConstruction Administration services for the design, renovation andconstruction of the Projects. The Project(s) must be designed and constructedin accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in thisRFQ.

HHSC intends to select design professionals for eachdiscipline or service type identified in this RFQ by region. HHS facilitiescomprise approximately 1,450 buildings at 25 facilities in 4 regions locatedthroughout Texas.

Refer to Exhibit I, Professional Services Disciplineand Region Designation Form, for discipline overview and regiondesignations.

HHSCis soliciting the services listed herein under TexasGovernment Code Chapter 2254, Subchapter A, the Professional ServicesProcurement Act .
