RFP 1161 Tutoring

Project Description: MPS is inviting qualified vendors to submit proposals to provide professional services for Milwaukee Public School students attending MPS, according to the following parameters/formats:
1. One-to-One or small group (up to four students) in person reading tutoring for students in grades fourth through eighth.
2. One-to-One or small group (up to four students) in person mathematics tutoring for students in grades fourth through eighth.
3. Virtual tutoring program for One-to-One or small group (up to four students) in reading or math for students in grades fourth through eighth.
Services will be needed at various times: before, during, and/or after school, weekends, and summer at MPS site(s) or agreed upon location(s).
Eventually (estimated 2027-2028) services will be phased in for 9th grade students.
Services will occur at MPS sites or MPS approved sites.
All providers must be locally based for in-person tutoring.
Respondents are not required to provide all formats and types of tutoring (individual, group, subject area, in person, virtual, etc.)
Providers must participate in school events such as Open Houses and Parent Conference nights as part of the core services.
The objective of the tutoring services is to assist eligible students, identified by MPS, in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to meet and/or exceed fundamental skills and standards.
