Overview

Summary

The Pasadena Police Department (PPD) is seeking a qualified vehicle leasing firm, preferably with experience working with police departments, to provide police vehicle leasing services, defined in the Scope of Work section, of thirty (30) vehicles.

Background

PPD intends to use these leased vehicles for 24/7 response to critical incidents and fulfillment of department service obligations. The PPD reserves the right to change the number of vehicles leased per year (increasing or decreasing the number of vehicles), changing the type of one or more vehicles, increasing or decreasing the annual mileage on one or more vehicles greater or lesser than 10,000 miles. This is a non-guaranteed amount contract. The PPD reserves the right to order any amount of leased vehicles and additional services it deems in the best interest of the city.

PPD intends to award a multiple year contract lease upon mutual agreement with the successful bidder and PPD. Replacement or additional vehicles will be ordered under line items, and at prices applicable to the ordering period current at the time the replacement is made. Prices for future year ordering period will be presented to PPD by the awarded vendor in a timely fashion near the beginning of each ordering period. PPD will accept or reject in future order period pricing through amendment to the original agreement. Bidders will only submit pricing for the first ordering period time response to this RFB.
