Inaccordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code (TGC), Chapter 2254,Subchapter A, Professional Services, and Rules and Procedures adopted by theTexas Facilities Commission (TFC), and in order to provide timely andcost-effective design and other specified services, TFC solicits through thisRequest for Qualifications (RFQ) Prime Professional Service Providers (PSPs)for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Heating, Ventilation andAir Conditioning and Testing and Balancing Professional Engineering Services.
Original (initial) executed IDIQ contract agreementswill state a not-to-exceed cap but shall have no monetary value due to theindefinite nature of the need for services and there is no guarantee of projectassignment to the awarded PSPs. Award of an IDIQ contract agreement orsubsequent assignment under an IDIQ contract agreement will not disqualify aPSP from responding to any future TFC project for which a project-specificRequest for Qualifications may be issued. TFC anticipates award under this RFQto be made to multiple firms. NOTE: Respondents must submit proof of firmregistration with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors pursuantto Texas Occupations Code Chapter 1001. See Attachment D-ProfessionalServices Agreement for more information.
