Description

Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport will host the Technology Insertion Hardware (TIH) 28/30/32 Industry Day.

TIH makes up the vast majority of the Combat Control System (BYG-1) shipset and is also a part of the Sonar shipset.

The TIH 28/30/32 contract will provide the latest generation hardware to Team Submarine platforms.

Anticipated components include

Computer processing and memory

Data storage and extraction

Input/Output (I/O) interfaces to support processing systems designed around commercially available hardware and software

Implementation of virtualization

Procurements may include

Upgrade kits, enclosures, and/or full-up systems for the SSBN, 688/688i, VIRGINIA Class, COLLINS Class, COLUMBIA Class, and future submarine systems/platforms.

The event location is the Naval Undersea Museum, Jack Murdock Auditorium
