NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:

The US Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 2), located at 2875 Union Road, Cheektowaga, NY 14227, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253 (c)(1) (FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements),to New Jersey Hospital Association, 760 Alexander Road Princeton, NJ 08543.

This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of base plus 4 option years available.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency.

Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Respondents should reference 36C24225Q0177 Notice of Intent in the Subject line. Responses to this notice shall include company/individual name, a service capability statement, including examples of similar facilities for which services have been provided, DUNS number, address, point of contact and socio-economic category (i.e. SDVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business, Large Business). Determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. If no viable responses have been received by the closing date of 12/18/2024 at 10:00AM E.T., the Government shall negotiate solely with New Jersey Hospital Association.

Introduction The requirement is for membership dues to New Jersey Hospital Association on an annual basis.

Background /Objective New Jersey Hospital Association shall provide access to educational resources and courses as available to those who are members. Seeking contract of base year plus five years.

The VA New Jersey Healthcare System, 385 Tremont Ave East Orange, NJ 07018 is currently seeking membership dues paid to New Jersey Healthcare System.

The VANJHCS East Orange is a key hospital in New Jersey and has been a member of the NJ Hospital Association for some time. This membership affords our leadership the ability to interact and network with the leadership of all major stakeholders in the provision of acute medical care in NJ.

Scope of Work The requirement is for payment of membership dues to New Jersey Hospital Association on an annual basis.

Tasks/Deliverables

Contractor shall provide access to educational resources and courses as available to those who are members, including continuing education programs, databases and access to staff for consulting. This includes participation in learning opportunities and collaboratives for process improvement and ongoing communications resources for healthcare in New Jersey.

Contractor shall list VA New Jersey Healthcare System hospitals in directory of American Hospital Association.
