The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District (NWK), intends to issue a solicitation for construction services. This solicitation is for offers for a Firm Fixed-Price Single Award for Wilson Relief Wells in Russell County, KS. This is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The solicitation will be available on or about 30 November 2023 on the SAM website at www.sam.gov, and proposals will be due within 30 days from issuance of the solicitation.
The NAICS code that will apply to projects under these contracts will be NAICS 237990 (Other Heavy Construction) The Size standard is $39.5 million. The Government will award one contract under this solicitation. This estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. A Bid Bond and Payment/Performance Bonds shall be required.
The Wilson Relief Well Replacement project will line remaining wells constructed in 1992, (RW-2A, RW-9A, RW-10A, RW-11A, RW-12A, RW-6A, RW-7A, RW-8A). In addition to lining the 1992 wells, up to 9 replacement wells will be installed. An additional option to this work will encompass work pertinent to replacement and extension of the existing 54 inch pipe, approximately 130ft in length, including earthwork associated with the pipe extension as well as rockwork at the pipe outfall.
Interested offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the SAM internet web-site at https://sam.gov/content/home. If the offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity must have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM data base, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective offeror.
Interested offerors are required to submit their representations and certifications to the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://sam.gov/content/home. The solicitation and associated information will be available from the SAM website https://sam.gov/content/home. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing; therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation.
All communications must be made in writing. Prospective Offerors shall submit contracting and technical inquiries and questions concerning the solicitation via Bidder Inquiry in ProjNet at www.projnet.org/projnet. A Bidder Inquiry Key will be provided with the solicitation.
