Description
Description of Requirement:
Winterlude, a winter festival that started in 1979, has grown into a major international event, drawing thousands of visitors from around the world to Canada’s National Capital Region. One of its main attractions is the Snowflake Kingdom, an outdoor snow park offering family-friendly fun. Located in Gatineau's Jacques-Cartier Park for many years, it features snow tubing, games, entertainment, and impressive giant snow sculptures.
The selected Contractor will be responsible for building, setting up, maintaining and dismantling the Snowflake Kingdom. The work will be done in collaboration with the PCH Technical Authority and according to the plans provided.
Duration of Contract:
The Contract will cover Winterlude for the duration of one (1) year, from the date of Standing Offer award, with one (1) additional option period of one (1) year and as detailed in Annex “A”, the Statement of Work.
Evaluation Process and Selection Methodology
There are mandatory technical criteria and rated technical associated with the requirement. The mandatory criteria are as follows:
MT1 - The bidder must clearly demonstrate in its bid that the firm or its resources have at least five years of experience building this type of structure/fabrication. *
*This type of structure/fabrication is defined as follows: downhill/cross-country ski slopes and/or trails, snow slides, or bicycle racetrack.

The responsive bid carrying the lowest price will be recommended for contract award.

There are no security requirements.
The estimated contract period will be 5 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/11/25.
