Request for Proposals - City of Chandler Pre-Qualified Technical Registrants List for Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Optics and Related Services

The City of Chandler invites qualified consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to establish a pre-qualified technical registrants list for OUTSIDE PLANT (OSP) FIBER OPTICS AND RELATED SERVICES . The selected firms will be placed on a list which the city will utilize for the direct selection of the appropriate firms for Projects where design fees do not exceed five hundred thousand dollars, under A.R.S. § 34-103.   The city does not guarantee that a firm placed on the list of pre-qualified technical registrants will ever be awarded a contract.

Scope of Services
Provide comprehensive OSP fiber optic services including all the physical fiber optic cabling supporting infrastructure included, but not limited to towers, poles, cabinets, and conduits, as well as any hardware located between the switching facility and switching point.  Services may also include, studies, inspections, programming, master plans, design, temporary construction easement, construction document development (plans, specifications, and cost estimates), surveying, AutoCAD drafting, material testing services, conduit proofing, inventory and audits, infrastructure construction and restoration (softscape, paving, concrete, drainage and retention, etc.), fiber cable installation, fiber splicing and termination, fiber testing, locating, and construction administration and construction management services.
