Housing Authority of Salt Lake City (HASLC) is soliciting bids from qualified, experienced, licensed, and insured contractors to provide boiler replacement and related mechanical services at Romney Plaza Apartments, including replacement of Boiler #2 and certain shared chilled-water piping and associated components, as more fully described in the attached IFB. (Boiler #1 at the property was replace in January 2021.)
Project Summary:
Services will include, but are not limited to:
• Replacement of Boiler #2 and related mechanical components with complete, code-compliant, and energy-efficient systems.
• Replacement of identified shared chilled-water piping and associated components.
• Electrical work, controls integration, startup, testing, commissioning, training, and closeout documentation.
• Minimizing disruption to building residents and staff during construction.
• Providing the required warranty and preventive maintenance program following project completion.
