Description
Army Contracting Command-Orlando (ACC-ORL) has awarded a sole source task order to OST, Inc. under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3406(C)(2) and implemented in FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B) to perform engineering and technical support services. This bridge action is needed to ensure the continuation of critical SETA services to CPE ST3, formerly CPE Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (CPE STRI), and limited requirements of CPE ST3 customers, related to CPE ST3’s mission, and ACC-ORL in direct support of CPE ST3. The task order will provide SETA services that align with the Army’s evolving requirements for training, testing, and threat services while simultaneously complying with Executive Order 14271, “Ensuring Commercial, Cost-Effective Solutions in Federal Contracts”. This Task Order relies on an agile program management approach to achieving efficient and effective use of the Government’s limited resources. The requirement includes completion of tasks for the transforming CPE ST3 portfolio through a dynamic and flexible resource allocation approach. The Government will continue its extensive market research and acquisition planning for a competitive procurement utilizing an existing commercial contracting vehicle.
