Summary:The Fairfax County Department of Transportation’s (FCDOT) Transit Services Division (TSD) is seeking a Request for Information (RFI) from vendors interested in developing a partnership to meet the following goals:
• Assist in the planning, financing and implementation of an effective and efficient charging infrastructure for the County’s transition to a zero-emission transit fleet.
• Develop alternative financing options for the procurement of electricity, including onsite generation and outside renewable sources.
Responses to this RFI must be received by 4:00p on March 25, 2025. RFI submissions will be accepted as email attachments only. All responses must be sent to cory.bartelt@fairfaxcounty.gov with “Implementing Microgrids RFI Response” in the subject line.
