REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTEREST, TRAFFIC DATA
COLLECTION SERVICES
Notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Department of Transportation (Department or ARDOT) is seeking letters of interest from qualified entities for providing traffic data collection services on an as-needed basis for calendar years 2025 through 2028.
The scope of services will generally consist of providing the following:
• Traffic volume counts.
• Vehicle classification counts (with mechanical and video traffic counters).
• Intersection turning movement counts with video traffic counters.
• Bicycle and pedestrian counts.
• Installation of permanent in-road traffic counting sensors (both piezo and quartz).
• Installation of permanent AI camera or radar sites.
• Calibration of existing weigh-in-motion sites.
• Other traffic data collection as needs demand.
Responses in PDF format should be sent to ConsultantContracts@ardot.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. CST on JANUARY 6, 2024, WITH “TRAFFIC DATA COLLECTION 2025” in the subject line.
