Description

The purpose of this Negotiated Request for Proposal (the “NRFP”) is to solicit proposals for Attracting Investment to Canada’s Tourism Sector: Intelligence and Capacity Building. Destination Canada seeks to engage a supplier capable of delivering the full range of services outlined in the Scope of Works detailed below. The NRFP encompasses four (4) distinct Scope of Works:

Scope of Work A – Tourism Investment Activity Reporting

Destination Canada seeks a Contractor to produce a national Tourism Investment Activity Report that builds on previous editions and provides a clear, evidence-based view of investment flows globally and within Canada. This report is intended to support strategic decision-making, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.

Scope of Work B – Project Pipeline

Destination Canada seeks a Contractor to conduct a review and update the Destination Development Project Pipeline, highlighting key tourism investments across Canada. This includes project vetting, applying assessment criteria, and analyzing investment readiness

Scope of Work C – Investment Attraction Training

Destination Canada seeks a Contractor to strengthen capacity in tourism investment attraction. The program will equip communities and operators with strategies, tools, and insights to engage effectively with domestic and foreign investors.

Scope of Work D – Tourism Sector Profile

Destination Canada seeks a Contractor to develop a comprehensive Tourism Sector Profile tailored to international audiences with the goal of attracting FDI into Canada’s tourism sector. The profile will support investor engagement and position tourism within Canada's broader economic development agenda.

Note: Partial proposals where a proposal addresses one or some Scopes of Work will not be considered.
