Seattle Animal Shelter Animal Food and Supplies

The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to solicit bids from qualified vendors of animal food and supplies, as part of Seattle Animal Shelter's ongoing commitment to saving animal lives through adoption, foster care, spay & neuter programs, law enforcement and community outreach.

Animal food and supplies are currently purchased under the City's Direct Voucher limit, but Seattle Animal Shelter anticipates spending $89,000 annually on these products, establishing the need for a blanket contract. The City expects to make monthly purchases between $7,000 and $8,000.
