Grayson Industrial Parkway Sewer Extension

Sealed bids will be received by the OWNER for a General Contractor to furnish all materials labor, tools, equipment & any other miscellaneous items necessary for sanitary sewer improvements in the Grayson Industrial Park & road resurfacing of Grayson Industrial Parkway located in Grayson, GA.

The project involves extending sanitary sewer service throughout Grayson Industrial Park & repairing & resurfacing Grayson Industrial Pkwy. More specifically, the sanitary sewer improvements consist of installing approximately 1,300 l.f. of 8¿ diameter gravity sewer lines in the roadway of Grayson Industrial Pkwy connecting to the Gwinnett County sewer system. The sewer improvements also include installing seven (7) manholes, thirteen (13) sanitary sewer laterals & other appurtenances. (Individual customer hook up to sanitary sewer laterals is not in the scope of this project.) The City of Grayson is responsible for obtaining Gwinnett County Dept of Water Resources project approval & for obtaining a temporary construction easement from the Owner of Lot 12 in Grayson Industrial Park. Upon completion of the sewer installation, the selected contractor shall mill & resurface the Grayson Industrial Pkwy in its entirety. Grayson Industrial Pkwy has 28 ft in pavement width & is approx. 1,300 ft long w/ a 48-foot paved radius cul-de-sac. To bid this project, Contractor must be prequalified under the Gwinnett County Dept of Water Resources Annual Prequalification of Contractors for Installation, Replacement and/or Relocation of Gravity Sanitary Sewer Mains, Force Mains & Appurtenances, Sub-section 1, Gravity Sanitary Sewer Mains ¿ Small 8¿ to 12¿.
