The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a firm fixed price modification under an existing contract to procure the Pre-Buffer & Junction Box Assembly (PB&J), Part Number 4265AS9032-1, as ancillary support of the Aircraft Generator Test Stand (AGTS) Part Number 4265AS0100-1 from Testek, LLC, Wixom, MI. Fielding of the AGTS by United States Navy is anticipated for Fiscal Year 26. The PB&J is intended to enable the AGTS to utilize its full test capabilities at all U.S. Navy and Marine Corps sites.
Testek, LLC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer, owns the technical data, and is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the AGTS. The government does not possess the required technical data currently to effectively solicit this requirement by full and open competition. No other manufacturer or procuring agent would have this data and are capable of manufacturing or procuring PB&J, Part Number 4265AS9032-1 to successfully meet the Governments requirement.
NAWCADLKE intends to award this modification under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) (formerly known as 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
