Project Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that online sealed proposals for POTTSTOWN WASTEWATER and WATER PLANT CHEMICALS will be received by the Borough Council of the Borough of Pottstown until 10:00 AM prevailing time on Wednesday,
October 1, 2025 at which time they will be open and posted online:
Wastewater Treatment Plant Chemicals
Item 1 – Sodium Bisulfite
Item 2 – Liquid Chlorine
Item 3 – Sodium Hypochlorite
Water Treatment Chemicals
Item 1 - Activated Carbon – by super sac
Item 2 – Activated Carbon – by bag
Item 3 – Sodium Bisulfite
Item 4 – Sulfuric Acid
Item 5 – Liquid Chlorine
Item 6 – Sodium Hypochlorite
Item 7 – Poly Aluminum Chloride
Bids will be received online via Penn Bid Program and Bid Specifications, proposals and contract forms are available online at no cost at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.

A bid bond, certified check or cashier’s check drawn to the order of the Borough of Pottstown in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid must be submitted as a copy with proposal as Bid Security, which will be returned after the award of the contract. All documents shall be submitted online at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.

Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the time affixed for the bid opening. The Borough of Pottstown reserves the right to reject any of all bids or any part thereof in the best interest of the Borough of Pottstown.
