The project includes the demolition and replacement of approximately 1,650 linear feet of existing 6-foot to 8-foot tall chain link fencing with high security fencing, replacement of the existing entrance gate with a 28-foot long fully-automated high security double swing gate, and installation of badge reader stations at the Saugus WRP entrance gate, at the Liquid Waste Disposal Station, and at one high security pedestrian access swing gate. Additionally, high security cameras and speakers will be installed throughout the Saugus WRP.
