West BOF Freight Elevator Rehab

Project Description: The purpose of this project is to obtain a service to rehabilitate the freight elevator located at the West Bus Operating Facility. This project will consist of removing the jack assembly, including handling the disposal of waste hydraulic fluid, installing a protective casing around the jack assembly, installing a new jack assembly, demolishing the elevator interior, installing the new elevator interior, demolishing the existing elevator controller, demolishing the existing elevator pump and housing unit, installing a new elevator controller, installing a new elevator pump and housing unit, demolishing and replacing the door and hallway fixtures, refurbishing and/or replacing elevator door assemblies, fireproofing both elevator shaft and mechanical room, installing a split-system HVAC unit, and all other work described in the plan set and specifications.
