Project Description: The purpose of this solicitation is to establish On-Call General Plumbing Services term contract(s) for as-needed and emergency requirements at various County facilities. Term contract(s) will include labor, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to diagnose, repair, or replace standard plumbing components with short response times. The individual work tasks under this contract shall not exceed $250,000 without prior authorization.
All work performed under this contract shall support Fairfax County’s commitment to energy efficiency, sustainability, and zero waste. Contractors are responsible for providing reports and data to identify, validate, and document energy savings, sustainability measures, and zero-waste outcomes. To the extent practicable, the Contractor shall recycle materials generated during the course of the work, properly dispose of all waste in accordance with applicable regulations, and provide documentation of disposal methods upon request by the County. Charges for sustainability services and occasional Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation are allowable (refer to Technical Specifications).
