The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group (CPG), on behalf of the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) aboard Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, FL and its remote sites at Naval Station (NS) Mayport, FL, Cecil Commerce Center (Cecil Field) in Jacksonville, FL, NAS Oceana, VA, and NS Norfolk, VA, announces its intention to procure Production Support Services (PSS) for the aircraft lines and associated repair shops. This serves as a Market Research tool to identify potential and eligible firms, of all sizes, prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a formal solicitation. The results of this Sources Sought will be used to determine if any Small Business Set-Aside opportunities exist. Additionally, this Sources Sought is intended to gather constructive feedback from industry to help improve the impending Request for Proposal (RFP).
This procurement of PSS is for the aircraft lines and associated repair shops referenced above. This requirement is a follow-on to an existing contract, the details of which are provided in paragraph 3b of the attached Sources Sought PSS Follow-On notice. There have been no significant changes in scope, magnitude, or complexity from the current contract.
