Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing
Conducting Procurement Unit: Utah Division of Wildlife Resources
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: wildlife habitat improvement by mechanically removing/shredding with a wheeled or tracked mechanical mulching/shredder (Mastication) followed by herbicide application on Oak and Maple trees to approximately 100 acres of the Henefer-Echo WMA northeast of Henefer, UT.
Mandatory Site Visit: A mandatory site visit will be held prior to bidding. It will be held on August 26th, at 10:00 AM at the following coordinates: 41.016762, -111.486239 (At the intersection of 71 E Henefer Rd. and S. Echo Rd., right off of the Main Street exit from I-84.) It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder consider road conditions and their ability to transport equipment to site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Bids will only be accepted from vendors that attend the mandatory site visit.

It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Project Performance Time: Contract must be completed by November 30th, 2025. Contract time cannot be extended into 2026.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing through completion of the project.
