Project Description: THIS PROJECT IS RESTRICTED TO CONTRACTORS THAT HAVE BEEN PREQUALIFIED THROUGH THE CONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION EVENT POSTED ON BONFIRE
(HTTPS://UTAH.BONFIREHUB.COM/OPPORTUNITIES/216408). ONLY CONTRACTORS APPEARING ON THE PREQUALIFIED BIDDERS LIST ARE ELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT A BID. BIDS SUBMITTED BY NON-PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS WILL BE DEEMED NON-RESPONSIVE AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
The project consists of installing a new potable well pump house with chlorination facilities; associated electrical, controls, and HVAC; new piping and connections to the well and pump-to-waste discharge; a new surge tank vault; construction of a new cul-de-sac; and miscellaneous surface improvements located at approximately 1002 West 2320 South in West Valley City, Utah.
The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the facilities and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Obtaining all permits.
Adhere to Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) funding requirements including: Buy America and Davis-Bacon Wage Act Compliance, and all requirements as shown in the Project Documents.
Project supervision.
Mobilization/Demobilization.
Construction of a masonry block well house building with standing seam metal roofing, HVAC system; site work including: grading, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, and asphalt pavement.
Equipping of the well house with a vertical turbine pump and motor, piping valves, flow meter, miscellaneous fittings and appurtenances, and chlorine generation system.
Electrical connections to and electrical work associated with the well house and installation of a new emergency generator, and telemetry wiring for RTU.
Installation of an 18” PVC discharge line, 12” pump-to-waste line, and 18” and 15” storm drain piping.
Construction of a surgetank vault and piping, pump-to-waste connection vault, and existing outfall modifications (to be included as an additive alternate).
Construction of a new cul-de-sac on 2320 South.
