REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTEREST (RLOI)
REDEVELOPMENT OF THE TOMBARELLO BROWNFIELD SITE (APPROX. 14 ACRES)

The City of Lawrence, through its Office of Planning & Development and Business & Economic Development Department, hereby invites Letters of Interest (LOIs) from qualified developers, firms, or development teams for the redevelopment of an approximately 14-acre City-owned brownfield property, commonly referred to as the Tombarello Site, into a modern industrial park.

The purpose of this Request for Letters of Interest (RLOI) is to identify qualified and experienced parties interested in the redevelopment of this site and to gather conceptual development approaches that integrate environmental remediation and industrial development.

The RLOI process will commence on March 23, 2026, at 9:00 AM, at which time the RLOI documents will be made available, submissions due MAY 26TH 2026, 2:00PM- DUE DATE EXTENDED

Letters of Interest must be submitted in person to the office of the city clerk in accordance with the instructions contained in the RLOI. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, to waive informalities, and to take any action deemed to be in the best interest of the City.

This RLOI is issued solely for the purpose of gathering information and does not constitute a procurement process or an offer to enter into an agreement. A formal Request for Proposals (RFP) or other disposition process pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30B may follow.
