Sealed proposals will be received by the State of North Carolina through UNC Pembroke in Pembroke, NC in the office of Amanda Spayd, UNC Pembroke Facilities Planning, Design & Construction located at the Pinchbeck Building, 1 University Drive, Pembroke, NC 28372 and in Conference Room 141, UNC Pembroke Pinchbeck Building, 1 University Drive, Pembroke, NC 28372 up to 2:00pm on April 28, 2026 and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, materials and equipment entering into the construction of Livermore Library Roof Replacement. The project mainly consists of approximately 17,455 square feet of full tear-off and new roof installation (base bid); approximately 8,080 square feet of partial tear-off and new roof replacement (alternate 1); approximately 325 square feet of partial tear-off and new roof replacement (alternate 2); and approximately 480 square feet of full tear-off and new roof replacement (alternate 3). Bids will be received for single prime contract type. All proposals shall be lump sum. An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on April 7, 2026, at 10:00am at Conference Room 141 of the Pinchbeck Building, 1 University Drive, Pembroke, NC 28372. The meeting will address specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms. Attendance is not mandatory but is encouraged. Complete plans, specifications and contract documents will be open for inspection in the offices of UNC Pembroke and SKA Consulting Engineers, Inc. and in the following plan rooms: - Associated General Contractors, Carolinas Branch - McGraw-Hill Dodge Corporation, Eastern Regional Office - Reed Construction Data, Norcross, GA. - Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC), Charlotte, (877) 227-1680 - East Coast Digital, (252) 758-1616 or may be obtained by those qualified as prime bidders. Files will be issued electronically only. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
