2026 Road Paint Striping

Montrose County is accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors for centerline and edge line paint striping of various Montrose County roads.

Bids are due at the Montrose County Public Works office, 63160 LaSalle Road, Montrose, CO 81401, no later than 2 p.m. local time, April 28, 2026. The bids will be opened immediately thereafter and read aloud. The bid award will be at a later date at a noticed, public meeting of the Board of County Commissioners.

Award may be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting applicable county and state procurement requirements. In reviewing the bids received, the County reserves the right to reject, for any reason whatsoever, any and all bids, and to waive any informality or irregularity in a bid. The County reserves the right to accept the bid that provides the best value to the County in the County’s sole discretion. The County reserves the right to make a determination in the County’s sole discretion as to the sufficiency of qualifications of any bidder. The action to award a contract is subject to approval by the Board of County Commissioners. The submission of a bid does not in any way commit the County to enter into an agreement or contract with that bidder.
