Transition Planning and Move Management Services

TWU isseeking Proposals from one or more responsive and responsible Proposer(s) fortransition planning and move management services. Texas Woman's University (TWU) isconstructing the Health Sciences Center (HSC), on the east side of the TWUDenton campus. The HSC is scheduled tobe operational by end of July 2025, with start of classes for August 2025 forthe University’s Fall Semester. The physicalmove services will be provided under separate contract.

Thetransition planning and move logistics are anticipated to take approximately4-6 months, with the phased physical move into the new building beginning withsubstantial completion scheduled May 2025. The services required will include management for the relocation ofvarious items from multiple origins, including standard office items,specialized medical and research equipment and cadavers, and the coordinationof new equipment deliveries. Theattached site plan, floor plans and drawings are preliminary informationregarding the HSC project to establish framework for your company to developyour initial proposal. The building has3 fully occupied floors in addition to a 2 level connector, partial basement(approximately 5,000 SF) and attic space above the 3rd level. The totaloccupied area of the building is approximately 120,000 SF with total areaincluding the basement and attic spaces of approximately 180,000 SF. Alsoincluded a general building information that indicates the building areasummary and the current equipment schedule.
