Project Description: It is the intent of the City of Brownsville, Texas, to solicit sealed competitive proposals for HVAC upgrades at the Brownsville Animal Regulation and Care Center. The project includes upgrades to the facility’s HVAC and associated electrical systems to support improved ventilation, temperature control, and humidity management throughout the building. The project will modernize portions of the existing mechanical and electrical infrastructure to enhance system reliability, operational efficiency, and overall system performance. These improvements are intended to support indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and appropriate environmental conditions for both staff and animals. The upgrades will also align the facility with current mechanical and electrical standards while supporting long-term operational sustainability.
