TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE UCTC YEAR 2050 LONG RANGE TRANSPORTATION PLAN

The Ulster County Planning Department as host agency for the Ulster County Transportation Council (UCTC) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit responses from qualified consulting firms to assist UCTC staff with the development of the Year 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). Federal Metropolitan Planning laws and regulations (23 U.S.C §134), as revised under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act establish the framework and provide guidance in the preparation of LRTPs by Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs). The Plan will be developed in a manner that meets all Federal and State LRTP requirements and will be IIJA compliant The UCTC Year 2050 LRTP will serve as the basis for how funding decisions will be made over the next twenty-five years for all aspects of the transportation system in Ulster County.
