Project Description: Parkland County currently retains volunteer (paid on-call) firefighters to supplement our standard Fire Services departmental composition and provide expanded response to emergency situations as required. As these resources do not qualify for our standard Group Health, Dental and Life Insurance benefits due to inconsistency in their employment status and hours of service, Parkland County is seeking alternative options for coverage for this unique but vital component of our team.
