Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water System Improvements will be received by Porterville Water Association, located at 24 P Square Road, P.O. Box 8, Porterville, MS 39352, until May 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.,, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing Water System Improvements.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis, with additive and/or deductive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Neel-Schaffer, Inc.; 7085 Highway 45 North Alternate; P.O. Drawer 1078; West Point, MS 39773. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays during regular business hours and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bid documents are being made available electronically and via original paper copy (if requested). Plan holders are required to register for an account at www.neel-schafferplans.com to view and order Bid Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Electronic bids shall be submitted through www.neel-schafferplans.com . Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. Northeast MS Procurement Center, 318 7th St N, Columbus, MS 39701, 662-329-1077 Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.
