Sealed bids for Cooper County Bridge No. 0360032 Replacement on Billingsville Road, will be received at: Cooper County Commission’s Office, 527 High Street, Boonville, MO 65233, until the above time, at the office of the Cooper County Commission, and at that time will be publicly opened and read. All bids shall be submitted in the form of hard copies.
The proposed work includes:
The replacement of existing Bridge No. 0360032 and previous abutments with a new structure along similar alignment: 50’ long x 24.5’ wide single span, consisting of five(5) W30x90 steel girders with corrugated metal decking for 8.5” thick slab, on a 0 degree skew, 0% grade, supported by elongated concrete abutment walls with straight wings encasing HP10x42 steel driven piling, located on Billingsville Road (aggregate) over Anderson Branch. A temporary stream crossing is required for quarry and local traffic. This is a Soft-Match Credit Bridge project. Lat/Long: 38.9155°, -92.7520°.

All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (State Wage Rate).
The Cooper County Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works project provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project.
A certified or cashier’s check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal.
The Cooper County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
