The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
This requirement to upgrade the existing Propulsion Power Distribution (PPD) GE
iFIX, version 5.8 and associated Human Machine Interface (HMI) as a part of CGC POLAR STAR
Service Life Extension Project (SLEP). PPD was designed and installed by original equipment
manufacturer, Vasler Woodward, and interfaces with the Coast Guard Machinery Control System
(CGMCS) that is designed and managed by Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division
(NSWCPD).The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, software licenses, engineering services, testing, and
documentation necessary to accomplish the work stated in Attachment 1 – Statement of Work.
