Project Description: The Town of Palm Beach, Florida ("The Town") is hereby requesting competitive bids from qualified Contractor(s) to provide moving services within Palm Beach County. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, vehicles and other items necessary to accomplish the move. All personnel are required to be employees of the successful vendor. No contract or day laborers are permitted. No subcontracting is permitted under this Contract without written permission from the Town. The successful vendor’s employees shall wear a uniform while performing Town tasks. The uniform must clearly identify the company. An employee name tag is optional but preferred.
It is the intent of the Town to obtain the services of a qualified contractor to provide moving services for relocation of equipment and furnishing used in governmental offices, and other facilities, and monthly pick up of surplus items throughout the Town. Items to be moved include, but are not limited to, desks, chairs, tables, filing cabinets, recreational equipment, information technology equipment, and other miscellaneous items.

SUBMISSION:
The Town only accepts online submittal of bids through Euna Procurement (Bonfire), the eProcurement platform linked to the Town website, promoting a greener footprint.
PRE-BID MEETING:
A "NON-MANDATORY" Pre-Bid Meeting will be held virtually via the Microsoft Teams meeting platform.
Date/Time are specified in the "Events" section.

Attendance is strongly encouraged as this will be the only forum to seek clarification directly from the Contract Coordinator and Town staff.
AWARD:
Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Request for Bid.
The Town reserves the right to award to that bidder who will best serve the interests of the Town, and to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to award or not award a contract based on this bid proposal.
Prices quoted must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the close of the bid.
TERM:
The contract will begin at the start of the Town's 2027 fiscal year, beginning October 1, 2026.
The first year of the contract shall terminate in concurrence with the end of the Town’s 2027 fiscal year, ending on September 30, 2027.
There shall be four (4) optional one-year renewal periods, based on satisfactory performance, budget authorization and mutual agreement, for a maximum contract duration of five (5) years.
RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION:
Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the Town of Palm Beach may not request documentation of or consider a vendor’s social, political, or ideological interest when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
