    To Whom It May Concern:
There were several questions asked regarding this project. Please see the questions and the answers to the questions:
Can a structural plate headwall be used in lieu of temporary shoring
o No, use the information and method supplied in the proposal
What is the overall length of the culvert 61 LF (on plans) or 66 LF (bid line item 120)
o The correct length is 66 LF.
What is the design headwall width and height for the CASPPA?
o This is typically designed by the pipe manufacturer to withstand the load based on the provided
    geotechnical information.
For the sill plates, what is the distance in from either end of the culvert.
o There are two sills, one on the upstream end and one on the downstream end. The culvert sill detail
provided by the Hydraulics Unit and included on PSH 4 indicates that they should be 1' high and a
min. of 3' into the structure.
There will be no change to the ebsx file.
