|
The City of Fitchburg (the OWNER) is seeking sealed bid information for the replacement of the fire pump at the Montachusett Pump Station. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing and operation of a temporary fire protection bypass pumping system, the removal and replacement of the existing fire pump inside the Montachusett Pump Station, removal and disposal of three (3) existing domestic pumps and associated piping, valves, etc., new piping installation, and paint system replacement of the interior building, piping, and pump steel support beams.
General Contractor Bids will be received at the office of the Chief Procurement Officer, City Hall, 718 Main Street, Suite 208, Fitchburg, MA 01420 until Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM, and at that time and place publicly opened and recorded.
