Summary

This RFQ seeks to identify qualified vendors capable of delivering high-quality, evidence-based assistive technology and support services that enable DCY to meet its mission: to ensure children with disabilities and developmental delays have equitable access to the tools and support needed during the most critical years of growth and development.
DCY, through its administration of Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), provides early intervention services to infants and toddlers (birth to age three) with developmental delays or disabilities and their families. These services are delivered in accordance with each child’s IFSP and are intended to promote development and functional participation in everyday routines and activities within natural environments, such as the home and community.
DCY is seeking quotes for the procurement and provision of Assistive Technology (AT) devices, including but not limited to:

  1. Mobility and positioning equipment (e.g., walkers, standers, gait trainers, adaptive seating) needed to promote participation and safe movement
  2. Communication devices, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems appropriate for children birth to three years of age
