Description
The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is seeking Proposals from qualified Proponents to undertake a Transportation Assessment and Impact Study (TAIS) for the Whistler Creek West Neighbourhood Plan.
The RMOW is developing a neighbourhood plan for the Whistler Creek West area. The plan will develop a vision for the neighbourhood’s future over the next 25 years, supporting diverse housing options, employment space, transportation, and community amenities. The plan will be used as the basis for any proposed land-use and development changes. Whistler's Official Community Plan prioritizes Whistler Creek for a neighbourhood plan due to its potential for increased housing diversity and higher residential density.
Following the closing date, the RMOW intends to provide the Notification of Award for the contract to the preferred Proponent on or around March 24, 2025.
