Description: The New York City Public Housing Preservation Trust (the “Trust”) intends to commence a competitive two-step Design Build procurement process for the one (1) building 193-unit Coney Island Site 1B Housing Development, also known as Unity Towers, located in Coney Island, Brooklyn. This is the third Modernization project to proceed after residents voted to join the Public Housing Preservation Trust, which allows for the planning and procurement of integrated renovations to the property through a Design-Build contract.
