City of Girard, Kansas (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Waterline Improvements Project

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City of Girard City Hall located at 120 N Ozark St., Girard, KS 66743, until, the above time. At that time the Bids received will be “publicly” opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

Project will generally include the following: installation of approximately 18.6 miles of 2” to 12” PVC waterline, including but no limited to piping, tracer wire, valves, fire/post hydrants, cleanout, state/federal highway crossing, railroad crossing, casing pipe, carrier pipe, surface area restoration, service meter connections, connections to existing mains and all associated appurtenances.

The Project has an expected duration of 516 days to substantial completion and 546 days to final completion.

Pre-bid Conference

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held at the above time at City of Girard City Hall 120 N Ozark St., Girard, KS 66743. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
