The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (“District”) requests proposals from firms interested in purchasing the CoGen System run by Reedy Creek Energy Services (RCES).  Cogen refers to the Cogeneration Plant which produces both electricity and thermal energy (steam/hot water) for Walt Disney World, a process known as Combined Heat and Power (CHP), ensuring power for parks and resorts.
